
Hello my name is Lisa. I'm 19yrs old and I am currently studying Dressmaking and Pattern Design.
I live with my boyfriend, and I want to a Fashion Designer and also dabble in Beauty Therapy. I am hoping to go to university next year to study a Bachelor of Design in Fashion and Textiles but I don't know if it will go according to plan. I love to read books, pretty much any book about anything. I also enjoy helping people.
I have a goal and I'm starting it today. My goals are:
To get a job, hopefully something that pays well but anything at the moment would be fine.
To get my license, so I can just go places on the spur of the moment basis.
To lose 25 kilos, so that I can be healthy and fit.
I want to finish my dressmaking course.
and to get into uni for next year.
These are my goals so far I know I'm a little late for like new years resolutions but its better late than never. What I'm going to have to do to complete my goals:
Well I need to be more proactive with my job search. I'll need to do some more job searching and networking. With getting my license I still need 18 hours and I need to feel more comfortable, so I need to get more driving lessons for a start. To make this more accomplish able I should ring around and find the cheapest driving school. Although I'm already paying $50 maybe there is one out there with package deals that are cheaper. If I can get in one driving lesson a fortnight then I should have my 50 hrs by the 9Th of December 2007. Losing the weight is going to be the hardest goal I have set as I'm an emotional eater and Ive been very down and out lately because I'm unemployed, but to get started I will definitely need to change my eating habits but i just don't know what I should be eating i will need to get some meal ideas. I also have to up the exercise by like a hundred percent. So i should join a gym, but that could be extremely expensive so like the driving lessons i should ring around to find the best price. I need to tell people that I'm trying to lose weight so they can keep me on track. I would like to lose 1-2 kg a week so if i start this Monday (2ND of April 2007) I should have accomplished my 25kg goal by the 16Th of September 2007. If I want to finish my course before the year is out i will have to make a study plan and fit in some schedule some real time in and if i don't get it done in that time i will have to make it up the next day. I think that will work now there is 6 books with roughly 4 assesments each so if I try to finish each module that has a written assesment done in a week and any practical ones in two weeks i should roughly be done by November hopefully, im going to cross my fingers though. As for university im not sure how i go about that and will have to find out and post about it later. Well thanks for listening
